The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 87(1)(a) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003(1), makes the following Regulations:

Citation, commencement and extent

1.  (1)   These Regulations may be cited as the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) Regulations 2011 and come into force on 12th August 2011.

(2)  These Regulations extend to England and Wales only.

Prescribed police stations

2.  The police stations listed in the Schedule to these Regulations are prescribed for the purposes of section 87(1) (a) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Revocation

3.  Schedule 1 to the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) Regulations 2010(2 ) is revoked. Lynne FeatherstoneParliamentary Under-Secretary of StateHome Office18th July 2011
