The Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (England) (No. 2) Regulations 2013

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(6) of the Clean Air Act 1993(1).

Citation, application and commencement

1.  These Regulations—

(a) may be cited as the Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (England) (No. 2) Regulations 2013;
(b) apply in England; and
(c) come into force on 1st October 2013.

Authorised fuels for the purposes of Part 3 of the Clean Air Act 1993

2.  For the purposes of Part 3 of the Clean Air Act 1993, the following are authorised fuels—

(a) anthracite;
(b) semi-anthracite;
(c) electricity;
(d) gas;
(e) low volatile steam coals; and
(f) the fuels described in the Schedule.

Revocation
